At 15 years old, she may still not have her driver’s license – but she’s been drag racing since she was 11. Racing in the Pro Jr. Dragster division of the Professional Drag Racing Association (PDRA), Danika’s car reaches speeds in excess of 85 mph in 8 seconds – in her car that is wrapped with a custom E S Foods design!
We first sponsored Danika in 2019 as a 6th grader and are pleased she’ll continue to serve as an ES Foods sponsored athlete to help promote the healthy meals E S Foods offers school foodservice programs across the country. Currently she is part of our campaign “Rev Your Engines . . . It’s Time for Breakfast” and will participate in a variety of activities throughout the year.
Once she turns 16 in August, Danika will join the Brack Bass Division where she’ll be driving a bigger dragster, so she’ll be racing two cars the remainder of the season. Along with racing the full PDRA season, Danika also races several charity races throughout the year. Her father is a NASCAR enthusiast and named her for Danica Patrick, the most successful woman in the history of American open-wheel racing.
Danika’s sponsorship is a unique, fun way to promote E S Foods’ products while honoring a successful student athlete – a female teen in a male-dominated sport. She’ll also help us promote a contest that gives foodservice directors the opportunity to win free registration to SNA’s Legislative Action Committee held in March.
