Are you ready for Boston? We can’t wait to debut our new sandwiches, breakfasts and snacks! In fact, we have so many new products to launch at ANC, July 13-16, that we’ll have three stations at Booth #933: 1) Breakfast 2) Afterschool and 3) Sandwich Innovations.
For the first time in a decade, the number of low-income children eating summer meals saw a substantial increase year-over-year, according to a new report released by FRAC. Nearly three million children participated in the Summer Nutrition Programs in July 2013, a one-year increase of 5.7 percent.
Kids that might not get dinner at home each night can now get a full meal at their after school programs. These meals can be easily accessible and they too are funded by the federal government.
