We just returned from Dallas where we attended School Nutrition Association’s Annual National Conference (ANC). It was filled with thought-provoking panel discussions and meetings that dealt with everything from the challenges of serving school breakfast to the childhood hunger problem in today’s struggling economy.

Last month the got breakfast? Foundation, the non-profit organization founded by our own E S Foods CEO Gary Davis, awarded eight Silent Hero grants to help provide summer meals to children.
While most kids across the country are excited about the prospect of another school year ending and the start of summer vacation, in reality this means millions more low income children will face their days hungry.
