Good news about Breakfast in the Classroom programs was just announced in a report conducted by FRAC and NESPF. Among the positive findings – more than three in four principals (78%) would encourage their peers to consider this program, and principals noted a significant increase in breakfast participation (85%) when offering Breakfast in the Classroom.
In school we learn about impoverished countries, but it is shocking to see that there are many impoverished families in my own backyard. Here in the United States, there are over 16 million kids that are hungry. This is just unacceptable.
