Food for thought on what’s trending in school meal programs across the country

The School Nutrition Association (SNA) offers a comprehensive tool kit and other resources to help you get the word out that “school breakfast provides a sunny, energizing start to the day for your students.”
On an average day in the 2014–2015 school year, 11.7 million students eligible to receive free and reduced-price meals participated in school breakfast, an increase of 4.2 percent or nearly 475,000 children over the previous year.
