Virginia Motorsports Park

PDRA’s pro stars event was really fun this year. We got a full test day on Thursday which was fantastic! The car was running just right. Friday we had 2 more test runs and a whole car show. Saturday was the day where all the magic happened. We got jet cats and concerts, along with a ceremony for all the drivers that qualified Top 8 in the points series. We got to go up on stage and get a trophy. Then each of us drew chips from a bag to decide who we would get first round. I got one of my good friends and when the time came around ended up not getting the win. We still had a really fun time and can’t wait until next year.
PDRA Northern Nationals
US 131 Motorsports Park
Martin, Michigan
PDRA’s 5th stop was Michigan. It was a long haul up there but we made it. We once again had 4 test passes on Thursday. I was good on the tree all test passes and dad was dead on with the car. Friday was our first two qualifying passes. The car ran good but we knew we could do better, the Pdra now takes 32 cars to qualify instead of 16 and at the end of the day we were in the 23rd spot. Saturday morning we had our last pass. We didn’t improve any but we made the show ending in the 27th spot. We had a really tough competitor first round and decided to take a little chance and use it as a learning moment. We didn’t end up winning but the car ran good and we know the mistakes we made and how to fix them. We can’t wait to continue to learn and win.
